Q: Are wine tastings included in our reservation?
A: Yes. Wine tastings are included. The number of wine tastings depend on which Wine tour you are taking
Q: What are the rules for the bus
A: A: Please be courteous of your volume when talking or when using your cell phone while on the bus. Please keep conversations to a minimum and quick so fellow riders can hear the tour guide. Smoking of any kind is prohibited. Any continuous disruptions and you will be asked to leave the tour immediately with no refund.**
Q: How should I act at the wineries?
A: The wineries have a laidback relaxing vibe with a mature atmosphere in the mountains. This is a winery and not a lounge, bar or nightclub. Again this is a winery. There is no dancing on top of the tables, no loud screaming inside and no smoking including hookah inside or outside the wineries.
Q: Is food included in my wine tour reservation?
A: No. Food is not included with your ticket.
Wine Country Tour + Helen: You can purchase food at the last stop which is in Helen, Ga
Full Day Wine Country Tour: You can purchase food at the food trucks at the wineries. We also recommend eating breakfast prior to taking your tour
Half Day Wine Country Tour: We recommend eating prior to taking your tour. Wineries offer food for you to purchase
Q: I am interested in a certain date to take the wine tour but the calendar says that date is unavailable. What should I do?
A: Contact us to confirm that date is unavailable because it may say unavailable but it may be available
Q: Which three wineries are included in the tour?
A: Serenity Cellars, The Cottage and Cenita Winery. Due to availability these locations may change
Q: Should I tip the bartender at each winery?
A: Yes. Standard tipping is 15 - 20% at each winery.
***FYI... Georgia wineries by law are not allowed to give intoxicated customers additional alcohol if the bartender thinks you had too many drinks. There is no refund policy if are denied drinks at a winery because you have had too many drinks. If you have an issue with this contact the governor of Georgia or you can contact the President of the United States. ***
Q: I live in Atlanta. Why should take the Wine Country Tour?
A: This tour is a fun escape from the city life in Atlanta. Plenty of people living in Atlanta do not know wineries exist in the North Ga Mountains. Get your friends/family together and make this a fun day trip to see the hidden treasures of the North Ga Mountains. Do you want to celebrate your birthday? Do you have family/friends visiting Atlanta soon? Do you want to get away from the city for a day? If so, this tour will be perfect for you!!!

A: A face mask is highly recommended for your safety.
Q: I am visiting Atlanta soon. Why should I take the Wine Country Tour?
A: While you are here on vacation you might as well see as much of Georgia as you can. We have a popular Wine Country here in Georgia which would make your trip here memorable. The North Ga Wineries are not as popular as the wineries in Northern California but its the closest experience you will get outside of Northern California in Georgia.
Q: Do you offer refunds?
A: No refunds. All sales are final. You can change the dates of your tour if you like to a future date if you can't make it to your tour on your scheduled date.
Q: Can I reserve a specific seat on the bus? Can I sit with my group?
A: No, seats are on a first come first served basis. You should arrive 30 minutes prior to the tour with your group before everyone gets there to get your seats first. Whatever seat you sit in when you first get on the bus is your seat for the entire tour. Do not move to someone else's seat while on the tour.
Q: Where should I park?
A: There are several PAID parking lots near our meeting location in front of Trader Vic's Restaurant in Downtown Atlanta. There is one directly across the street from Trader Vic's in the huge parking deck. Parking generally cost between $7 - $12.
Q: Is Breakfast / lunch provided?
A: No. Bring your breakfast with you and you can eat it on the bus. We have a cupholder for your drinks on the bus. Our official lunch stop is in Helen, Ga at around 3pm. You can also eat at the first winery.
Q: Is there a phone charger onboard?
A: Yes. There are two phone outlets under each seat so bring your phone charger.
Q: Are concealed guns allowed on the bus?
A: No
Q: Is there a restroom on the bus?
A: No. You can use the restroom across the street at Peachtree Center before you get on the bus
Q: Why is the starting time different on Sunday vs the other days?
A: Drinks cannot be served until 12:30pm on Sunday in the mountains so we have to leave Atlanta later. Drinks can be served at 11am during the rest of the week so we leave at 9am. Atlanta drinking laws are different from the drinking laws in the North Ga mountains.
Q: How long will we spend at each winery?
A: One hour at each winery.
Q: How long is our stop in Helen, Ga? What is in Helen, Ga?
A: 70 minutes / http://www.helenga.org/attractions
Q: What happens if it rains? Snow?
A: If it rains the tour will still go on because the bus is covered. If it snows we will cancel the tour because your safety is our #1 concern. It isn't safe to drive in the mountains with snow and ice on the ground with all the hills and turns we have to make.
Q: What time should we arrive back in Atlanta?
A: North Ga Wine Country Tour + Helen: We should arrive back into Atlanta by 7:30pm (Saturday) / 8:30pm (Sunday) depending on traffic.
Q: What types of vehicles are used?
A: We use a 23 passenger shuttle with large windows and plenty of space with reclining seats. Depending on demand and/or our service schedule, we reserve the right to substitute vehicles.
Q: What additional expenses should we expect?
A: You should plan on paying for lunch in Helen, Ga or at any winery.
Q: Will I receive my tickets in the mail?
A: No. We employ an easy-to-use ticketless reservation system. Your name is your tour ticket. Thus, there is no reason to deal with the hassles of tickets and mail.
